Hog Roasting in Bisley – A beautiful Wedding Renewal.

Last weekend hog roast Bisley  had booked in a wedding renewal service for Steve and Lucy’s at their beautiful family home it Bisley. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone brightly which lifted everyone’s spirits.

We arrived on site at 9am sharp with a big day ahead of us. We set up two stations as we were serving canapes. One station was for the main course and buffet style dessert to be prepared and served from. The other strictly for canapes. We had quickly set up the main course area, with serving tables and of course the hog roast. The preparation and canape area was then set up and everything was laid out.

Straight away Steve and Lucy commented on how wonderful the serving area looked and how the hog roast smelt amazing. We got to work preparing the main course to start. A menu of slow hog roast, roasted baby new potatoes and 3 freshly prepared salads was being served. Along with an assortment of various breads and wraps, sage and onion stuffing and a selection of sauces including homemade apple. Once prepared and stored appropriately, we got to work on the canapes. There was an assortment of 7 different canapes on offer including pecking duck wraps and salmon roulade, and were all freshly and very delicately prepared. Individual presentation on the plate really showed a caring touch.

Once serving the canapes the guests all commented on how great they looked and tasted. Champagne was also served on arrival with the canapes. After this there was the ceremony in which Steve and Lucy renewed there vows. It was a great moment and really showed there commitment to one another. We worked silently in the background and got to work tidying down from the canapes and getting completely ready for the main course and dessert.

Once the ceremony had finished and pictures had been taken, everyone sat to eat and came up, table by table to enjoy the wonderful hog roast. Some people came back for more and everyone commented on how flavorsome the food was. The dessert was no different. Served buffet style, Steve and Lucy had opted for an assortment of individual cheesecakes. We dressed each dessert with pride and precision and the guests couldn’t believe how good they looked. Everyone got stuck in and afterwards there were many empty plates.

Steve and Lucy personally came up to thank us for such wonderful food and for an amazing day. The bar carried on late into the evening and we very quietly packed up and left without trace. A great menu 5 with hog roast Bisley.
