Summer just wouldn’t be complete without a beer festival—or ten! So when a local brewery announced plans for a massive beer fest, we at Hog Roast Woking were over the moon. The cherry on top? They wanted us to help cater for the event!
With ambitions to draw a lively crowd, the brewery spared no effort in making this festival a standout affair. And trust us, it was anything but your typical beer fest!
Spanning an entire weekend, the festival kicked off with early bird ticket holders eagerly pitching tents onsite, ensuring they didn’t miss a beat of the festivities. The heart of the event was a sprawling marquee, housing an impressive selection of over 40 ales, ciders, and kegged beers, complemented by a separate bar offering gin, prosecco, and wine. And the fun didn’t stop at drinks; live bands, tug-of-war contests, face painting, and impromptu dance-offs kept the energy high all weekend long!
Understanding that great beer needs great food, the brewery handpicked local caterers up to the challenge of feeding the hungry crowds from breakfast to dinner. Hog Roast Woking was honoured to be among them, delivering an authentic farm-to-table experience.
Led by our dedicated catering manager, Shaun, we showcased our signature hog roast—succulent pulled pork nestled in soft buns, accented with sage and onion stuffing, crunchy pork scratchings, and a dollop of applesauce, creating an explosion of flavours that left guests craving more.
Throughout both days of the festival, Hog Roast Woking was met with warmth and enthusiasm from attendees who savoured every bite of our offerings. Alongside our famed hog roast, guests indulged in an array of international street foods, adding a global flair to the celebration’s inclusive atmosphere.
In the end, everyone had a blast, and the brewery was so pleased with the turnout and success that they’ve already decided to do it all again next year. And guess what? Hog Roast Woking will be back, ready to bring even more flavour and fun to the party!
