Team Surrey is led by myself, Shaun, alongside my amazing wife Lou. We are deeply passionate about crafting high quality food with fantastic flavours.
My culinary journey began in my youth, spending countless hours in the kitchen with my family, absorbing timeless tips and tricks. Little did I know, these skills would prove invaluable in the years to come.
I was lucky enough that my then passion evolved into a career. I dedicated all my time to training and developing my skills until Lou and I made the decision to take the plunge and launch our own business with Spitting Pig.

When catering your events, our team will arrive at your selected venue hours before the service time, ensuring complete self-sufficiency. We come equipped with a gazebo covering the service area, serving tables, chafing dishes to maintain food warmth, serving utensils, tablecloths, napkins, and the choice between disposable or proper crockery/utensils. Once you’ve directed us to your desired setup location, we take all your catering stress from your shoulders to ours.

Indulge in our range of meats, perfectly suited for roasting either in trays or on the spit, tailored to your preferences. Our catering service has experience with locally sourced eats including free-ranged chickens, succulent sirloin beef, Welsh lamb, and the undeniable favourite free-range English-bred pork. Our meat is consistently praised for its succulence and tenderness, guaranteed to satisfy. Entrust our skilled chefs to flawlessly cook your meat to perfection, every single time.
As a complement to the delicious meats, we prepare for you freshly made sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce or mint sauce, suited to your choice of meat. Our soft floured baps are the perfect size for filling with meat, stuffing, & sauce to create an easy to eat meal on the go. We are also able to cater to any other breads, sauces, and condiments requests you may prefer. Halal meat is also a possibility as are various vegetarian options for your guests.
Many different options of tableware are available, from disposable plates, napkins, and cutlery to the finest porcelain dishes, cotton serviettes, and polished stainless steel cutlery. It is a case of matching your style of event to your budget and with many years of experience we can always help if needed. Booking enquiries can be made by calling 01932 252535 or through the enquiry form on our site with office staff ready to help you from 9-5 pm Monday to Friday. Spitting Pig Surrey also offers a Spit Roast Machine Hire option for those who would like to do the cooking themselves.
We can deliver and collect the machine at your convenience and can provide the meat as well as all serving equipment if so desired. During the summer months we are absolutely flat out so please remember to book early. To secure a booking we require a small deposit which secures your date with the balance to be paid on the day of the event.
