Towards the start of March, Hog Roast New Malden was hired to provide catering for a catering reception, including 40 friends and family members. Our catering manager Shaun was contacted by Charlie to discuss catering needs, with the menu needing to be served buffet style and including a meat-free option. After looking through our menus, it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu was the perfect choice.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast New Malden team arrived at the venue in Chislehurst in preparation for the 15:00pm mealtime. We began by preparing the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, before it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative. For the vegetarians, we also prepared grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which are a tasty meat-free dish. The dishes were also served with crunchy coleslaw and fresh green leaf salad, as well as sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and fresh chips.
We served the menu buffet style on bamboo cutlery and crockery, which was the ideal level of formality for this event. The Hog Roast New Malden team had lots of fun catering for this event and being a part of such an important occasion.
