For a recent 50th birthday celebration nearby, Hog Roast London was on hand to help make the occasion extra special by treating the guest of honour and 100 of their nearest and dearest to a mouth-watering hog roast.
Starting with a whole, free-range pig that had been hand-selected from a local farm shortly before the event, Hog Roast London spent hours lovingly preparing the dish that put our name on the map. As the serving time drew near, guests gathered round our serving station, watching with wide-eyed anticipation as our catering manager, Shaun, carved up the hog with absolute precision.
Before long, everyone had a full plate in front of them – and what a plate it was. An overflowing roll of pulled pork came with stuffing, crackling and a dollop of applesauce, because a hog roast without applesauce just isn’t right. Generous helpings of mixed salad and creamy gourmet coleslaw filled up the empty space, and our assortment of sauces and seasonings meant everyone could customise things to their liking. Vegetarians and vegans weren’t forgotten either, courtesy of our grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi, tzatziki dip, chilli sauce and flatbreads.
As always, Hog Roast London looked after the catering from start to finish, so the host could spend time with their guests rather than fretting over shopping, cooking or whether anyone’s plate was running low. That’s the bit we love most about celebrations like this – we take one enormous job off the organiser’s list, and everyone gets to have a brilliant time.
