Catherine and Amar got married in August and celebrated their wedding with help from Hog Roast East Horsley. Their reception took place in Somerhill, with 70 of their close friends and family. To make it an evening to remember, Catherine contacted our catering manager Shaun to discuss their ideal menu. The menu needed to be formal and Halal, with a tasty vegetarian option.
As the guests arrived at the venue, our Hog Roast East Horsley waiting staff served a selection of delicious canapes. The dishes included smoked salmon, fillets of beef, chicken satay skewers, and halloumi kebabs. This was a great introduction to our catering style and a delicious way to start the evening.
Once the guests we seated, we served spit-roasted English lamb, accompanied by Yorkshire puddings and mint sauce. For vegetarian guests, we prepared a great Spanish quiche. Alongside the main dishes, we also served tomato mozzarella salad, mixed leaves, coleslaw, and crispy roast potatoes. The dishes were served with fresh bread rolls, including a gluten-free alternative.
We served the catering on chine crockery, creating a formal atmosphere for the evening. The catering was a success, with a dish for every guest to enjoy. This menu was incredibly versatile and went down a treat!
