This November, Hog Roast East Molesey was contacted by Hayley to arrange catering for her husbands birthday. Our catering manager Shaun was happy to discuss menu options for the occasion, creating a package that would be ideal for 70 guests. The menu needed to include a vegetarian and gluten-free option, as well as dishes that would be delicious when served buffet style.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast East Molesey arrived early at East Molesey Cricket Club to begin preparing the catering. For the menu, we began by roasting the hog, ensuring that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. For meat-free guests, we also provided grilled vegetables and halloumi skewers, which was a tasty and nutritious dish. Alongside the mains, we also served mixed salad, coleslaw, fresh bread rolls, and gluten-free rolls. The menu was served buffet style on wooden crockery and cutlery, creating the ideal level of formality for the occasion.
Our team had lots of fun providing catering for this 50th birthday party and it was a great celebration to be a part of. All of the guests loved the dishes that we had to offer and it was great to see our menu go down so well.
