Earlier this summer, Hog Roast Chobham was hired to provide catering for a fancy dress party that was being hosted to celebrate an upcoming birthday. Mark turned 50 earlier in July and wanted to celebrate his birthday with a fancy dress party for his friends and family. For the theme, he decided on ‘the 90s’, with his guests dressing as celebrities or wearing clothes they owned during this era! As well as the dressing up, Mark had also hired a DJ to play music and Hog Roast Chobham to provide a meal. For the menu, Mark decided that our classic hog roast would be ideal for the 80 guests, as it is a versatile choice that always goes down well.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Chobham team arrived at the venue and got to work preparing the catering. We began with slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection before it was expertly carved by our chef. The sliced meat was then served in fresh bread rolls, with sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce. Alongside the rolls, we also prepared fresh chips and seasonal salad dishes to create a well-rounded and delicious meal! Our catering was a great addition to the party and was enjoyed by all.
