Hog Roast Esher Had A Blast Exhibiting At The Sandown Park Racecourse Wedding Fair!

Hog Roast EsherSpring has well and truly arrived, and with it comes a surge of wedding chatter. It’s that time of year when engagements are announced, plans start taking shape and suddenly everyone seems to be talking about venues, dresses and seating charts. And rightly so – your wedding day is a huge deal and getting every detail just right really matters.

If you’re in the middle of planning (or even just starting out) one of the best bits of advice we can give is this: check out your local wedding fairs. Honestly, they’re a bit of a game changer. Instead of juggling a dozen tabs on your laptop, you get to meet suppliers in person, see what’s trending and get a real feel for what you like – and what you don’t. It’s like a one-stop shop for all things wedding, minus the stress.

Naturally, we are big fans of these events, so it won’t surprise you to hear that Hog Roast Esher is a regular on the wedding fair circuit. Most recently, we had the pleasure of attending the Sandown Park Racecourse Wedding Fair – Surrey’s biggest wedding expo – and it did not disappoint.

With over 120 suppliers, venues and entertainers all under one roof, it was a busy (but brilliant) day. Couples were ticking off their to-do lists left, right, and centre – chatting to experts, snapping up exclusive deals on outfits, enjoying the catwalk show and even picking up a free wedding magazine on arrival.

But let’s be honest, the real highlight? The food.

Hog Roast EsherHog Roast Esher was there from 11am to 3pm, serving up samples from our Southern Slow Roast Menu – and let’s just say, it went down very well. The Cajun-spiced whole-roast chicken brought a little heat, while the Texan-style beef brisket was rich, tender and full of flavour. It gave guests a proper taste of what we can do – and showed that wedding catering doesn’t have to be predictable.

We had so many lovely chats throughout the day, sharing ideas, offering advice and helping couples picture what their wedding catering could look like with Hog Roast Esher’s help. By the end of it, we’d handed out stacks of business cards and met some genuinely wonderful people.

Suffice to say, we’re already looking forward to the next one. And if you’re planning your big day, who knows – we might see you there.
