Halloween might be behind us, but the treats definitely aren’t over for Hog Roast London! On the 6th of November, our team had the absolute pleasure of catering for one seriously epic Halloween party – we’re talking 650 guests, plenty of fancy dress, and enough good vibes to light up London Bridge itself.
This wasn’t just any party either. The guest list was made up of top legal eagles from London’s biggest law firms, all ready to swap their briefcases for broomsticks and blow off some steam in style. And with Eureka Events at the helm, you just knew it was going to be good.
They completely transformed an underground event space beneath Waterloo Station – a series of renovated railway arches – into a Halloween haven. Picture eerie green and purple lights dancing across the ceiling, a digital graffiti wall for those late-night creative bursts, a glitter artist sprinkling sparkle wherever she went, and even a skeleton DJ spinning tracks that had everyone up on their (un-dead) feet. Oh, and did we mention the magician? Pure magic. Literally.
Now, onto our favourite part – the food! Guests were spoilt for choice with chocolate fountains dripping with strawberries and marshmallows, street food stalls galore, and of course, the shining star of the evening: Hog Roast London.
Hog Roast London served up a feast that had even the vamps drooling – a full hog roast complete with golden crackling, alongside perfectly roasted chicken that stayed juicy to the last bite. For the plant-based crowd, our BBQ pulled jackfruit buns were a total hit. Smoky, sweet, and piled high with crunchy slaw, they disappeared faster than you can say “trick or treat.”
No feast is complete without the extras, so we dished out our famous sage and onion stuffing, fresh applesauce, and a mix of gluten-free and wholemeal rolls – plus a full line-up of Sauce Shop condiments for those who love to experiment.
Hog Roast London had an absolute blast at this event and can’t thank Eureka Events enough for inviting us along. Great music, great people, and great food – the perfect recipe for one unforgettable (and deliciously spooky) night!
