We’re truly in the swing of wedding season in June, and last week, we had the pleasure of catering for Jennifer’s big day. Here at Hog Roast Rickmansworth, we’re always delighted to be a part of personal celebrations. We try to get to know the couple on a personal level and become part of their journey. Jennifer’s wedding was held at the Waterside Venue in Rickmansworth (a beautiful lakeside house with a capacity of up to 100 guests). We were surrounded by stunning views while we set up our equipment and got the cooking process underway. Our catering manager, Shain managed all of the finer details from the moment of booking so that Jennifer and her fiancé didn’t have to worry.
Jennifer requested we serve Hog Roast Rickmansworth’s signature hog roast for the wedding breakfast – and all of her guests loved it. What makes our hog roasts so special is that we prepare everything fresh on-site. Then, we cook it on an old-fashioned spit that rotates for several hours until it’s gloriously golden brown. The aroma flooded the venue and left everyone feeling peckish for their meal, which is always a good sign. While guests celebrated the marriage of Jennifer and her new husband, they tucked into our delicious food and chatted. We were so pleased to have received many wonderful comments about the food quality and the waiting staff, who were super friendly.
Hog Roast Rickmansworth cater for weddings all year round, but we get particularly busy during the summer months. Therefore, we advise that you don’t hang around too long to secure your date if you have recently booked your wedding venue. It may also be worth asking if the venue is happy to have external caterers on the premises. It may also state this in your contract. We can cater for both the wedding breakfast and the evening event, should you wish – or even just one. So, all you have to do is give us a ring or send an email to make an initial enquiry.
