This autumn, Hog Roast Dorking is catering for a wonderful Halloween ball taking place at a university. Several university societies banded together to organise the ball for their members, so the event was bound to be a lot of fun! For the venue, one of the university halls had been hired and would be filled plenty of Halloween decorations, in keeping with the spooky theme. The guests had all been advised of the Halloween dress code, so everyone was expected to turn up dressed up in their best costumes. For the entertainment, a DJ had been hired for the occasion and Hog Roast Dorking had been hired to provide a delicious meal, which would be the main attraction of the event. We had been asked to provide our formal dining package, which would set the tone for the evening and would be a nice luxury for the guests to enjoy. This menu always goes down well, and we were more than happy to get involved.
Hog Roast Dorking’s formal dining package begins with canapés as the guests arrive, which is a great way to set a luxurious tone for the evening. We have a wide selection of canapés to choose from, including duck breast, fresh salmon, mini pizzas, mini fish and chips, and an Indian selection. This is followed by a classic Hog Roast Dorking main course, consisting of a slow-roasted hog and all of the trimmings. This is the star of our catering and is always enjoyed by our guests. The menu ends with a dessert course, with guests able to choose from a variety of delicious options, including profiteroles, chocolate torte, and sticky toffee pudding.
