Plan An Unforgettable Children’s Birthday Party With Hog Roast Compton

The Hog Roast Compton team were recently hired to handle the catering for a children’s party that Jodie had organised in honour of her son, Aaron’s, 9th birthday! It was a wonderful day, to say the least, and Aaron’s entire class of 25 children, plus his cousins, turned up to celebrate the occasion, which took the total number of guests up to 34.

Since children are well known for their notoriously fussy eating habits, the food was one of the most stressful parts of the party planning process for mum Jodie. But, thankfully, her worries were instantly put to rest following a short discussion with our lovely catering manager, Shaun, who promised to deliver an outstanding menu plan that the kids wouldn’t be able to resist. Not only that, but the solution he ended up presenting Jodie with was well within the clients budget and ticked every box she had asked for. The menu in question was our delicious BBQ Menu, which Shaun had made a couple of tweaks to here and there in order to make the feast even more child-friendly.

Hog Roast ComptonSo that the meal would be ready in time for the 3pm serving time that Jodie had set, Shaun and the Hog Roast Compton caterers arrived at the client’s home a few hours beforehand. This gave them enough leeway to cook the handmade British beef burger patties, hot dogs, sausages and chicken kebabs on the grill, as well as to prepare the salads, which the team had arranged to look more appealing for the children. They also whipped up some grilled veggie and halloumi kebabs for the vegetarian kids and for sides, they prepared a batch of mixed fries, mac and cheese and creamy potato salad. There were also plenty of sauces, dips and bread rolls available, which allowed the children to experiment with different flavour combos.

The food was out of this world, and the children happily munched away on the Hog Roast Compton buffet in between all of the party games that Jodie had organised for them. As the client, Jodie was particularly pleased with our efforts and was left feeling impressed by the value for money our crew offered.
