We had a very successful lunch on Sunday and Shaun and the Spitting Pig Team were excellent!   All the arrangements ran very smoothly. Shaun and team did an amazing job, with many guests going back for second helpings. As you had provided us with the hog roast in July for our summer event, the team

was familiar with the site and quickly set themselves up in the morning to provide succulent halal turkey, freshly cooked vegetables, two vegan/vegetarian options, plus all the trimmings.

With over 600 guests on site, Shaun mentioned they broke their record - serving 200 meals in the first hour alone!! It was quite a challenge due to the cold weather and rain on the day, but impeccable organisation and preparation together with good humour  (and cups of coffee) helped to make it another brilliant event!

Hi Sophie, Firstly, thank you for your help from the beginning when I enquired about the menu up to the week before the party when I requested for the Cajun chicken as an add-on. Shaun, our catering manager was brilliant! Communication was made before the party on the menu, timings and set up. Hi Sophie, This was our second time use of Spitting Pig as our first experience was so good,  on this occasion we had a much larger group to feed,  85+ , as before the event delivery and service were exemplary. The menu choices are all super, the only issue being is that you are spoilt for choice. The food was once again superb, prepared and delivered flexibly as our company live stream event was subject to extension, Always  super service, the bonus being everything from Spitting Pig is self-contained, even the clean up,  our BBQ area was left in a spotless condition and the Spitting Pig crew cleared away all the rubbish and disposed of same.   Faultless food, Faultless service – highly recommended 5* Martin Corr. Sophie, What can we say? Everything about the experience was fabulous, from the initial contact and discussions to the event itself. We wanted something that was similar to what was on the website, but a bit more 'mix and match' - no problem. Ahead of the event, we spoke directly with the chef and he arranged to come over and discuss everything, including fine tuning the menu and sorting out the logistics. On the day, the level of professionalism was outstanding. Shaun and his team arrived promptly and got set up. When the guests arrived, everything ran like clockwork with, the team serving drinks and canapes. An hour or so later, the main meal was served as a buffet; the food was an absolute smash hit with comments from everyone. Everything was paced perfectly, the quantities just right and the quality absolutely spot on. At the end, Shaun and his team packed everything away and left discreetly, leaving a small doggy bag of leftovers for us to fight over! Regards Graham

The food was excellent and there was more than enough of it; they set up and left with the absolute minimum of fuss; and, finally, everything seemed so very clean and non-greasy. I would certainly use them again. My comment to add it this is: Shaun was so helpful and very calm given the number of people he was catering for. Michael and I had the most amazing wedding day and the food provided by the spitting pig was amazing!!! Shaun, you and your team were so wonderful and kind and the food was really outstanding! The pork and the sides were delicious and the veggies in the party said the jackfruit was the best they had had! The charcuterie board and breads went down a treat as well and we couldn’t believe how little was left! We took some left over pork home and froze it and have had it since and it’s been delicious. Just a massive ‘thank you’ to you and your team for a wonderful hogroast for our 30^th wedding anniversary, held in our Surrey garden on August 28^th.

We catered for 40 people and there was more than enough gorgeous pork to go round; many of our guests left with spare portions too!

From the moment you arrived to the time you left , the professionalism, courtesy and seamlessness of your entire approach was exceptional. We didn’t need to worry about any aspect ; everyone loved it and you were fantastic with my family and guests. Setting up and taking down, cleaning up, was all done with no fuss – such a great experience overall.

I will definitely book another Spitting Pig experience; perhaps the full bbq next time.

I will certainly keep the Spitting Pig in my files daughter #2! (one day not too soon!) and we were hoping to have a big church event last summer with ‘hog roast’ which we may do next year! Spitting Pig Surrey were a pleasure to work with from the first meeting to the event itself. The team were very helpful in tailoring the menu to our requirements and were always happy to answer questions when required. The food itself was amazing and we received many compliments from our guests. We had bacon rolls as our evening meal and that was a particular highlight and worked really well as a relaxed option. The service was also first class for the whole day. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely use again should we need catering for an event.

Had a wonderful time! The pork was incredibly tasty and smelled amazing while it was cooking. Very impressive hog roast. The veggies and various side dishes were a huge hit with my vegetarian friends. Will definitely be recommending this company to my friends and family!

Hello, I thought the meal on the 31^st was most excellent. Key hits were the pulled pork and pigs in a blanket. Everything turned up on time and hot, meats were juicy, and desert was delicious. Please thank them as well for the gravy and bbq sauce. Our feedback from the first meal was implemented and the team is fat and happy. Thanks and Happy New Year!
