A Tipi Wedding with 120 Guests At Graylands Farm

Surrey - WeddingHog Roast Farnham has catered many kinds of private parties, wedding receptions and corporate events over many years now and we can often be found in some really lovely countryside locations in and around Surrey. For a delightful wedding that we catered just recently at Graylands Farm, that was certainly true, but it was also a venue that was a little bit different, as there are tents and tipis for the bride and groom and their guests to relax in and eat in!

We actually happily provided two meals for this wedding. Our chef Paul and the rest of the team at Hog Roast Farnham arrived in good time before the first meal, in order to set up all the equipment and freshly prepare the food. There were 70 guests to feed during the daytime, with delicious, posh-looking canapés served first of all, followed by a sit-down meal and then rounded off with some of our yummy homemade desserts. Most of the food that we make, where possible, is homemade, as we believe in quality and freshness and nothing tastes better than homemade. Whether it’s a juicy hog that we prepare, cook and then serve all from fresh on-site at your venue, or the garden-fresh salads that we put together just before service or even the tasty extras that we make ourselves, like our own-recipe apple sauce or sage and onion stuffing, we go the extra mile to ensure great taste from first-class ingredients.

Once the daytime meal had been served and everyone’s hunger had been satisfied, we could have a well-deserved break before it was time for us to start preparing the evening meal for 120 guests. We were asked to serve good old sausage and bacon rolls and wedges in the evening, as well as a vegetarian tarte. At Hog Roast Farnham, we have Surrey - Canapesplenty of options for any guests with dietary requirements, whether you need a vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free dish, for instance. We make sure that all of our customers and their guests can enjoy our wonderful, home-cooked food, no matter their diet. On this particular day, all of the food was gobbled up with relish, which is always the best compliment we could receive.
