It’s been a busy weekend for us here at spitting pig surrey, catering for a small yet fun birthday party on the 12th we had another birthday today for a hog roast Shepperton. A very special 40th which we were delighted to be able to cater for. The salad menu was for our most popular choices however instead of hog roast pork, Charlotte opted for our southern slow roast trio. A superb blend of slow roasted pork shoulder, brisket and legs of lamb all marinated with our flavoursome rubs and cooked for 10 hours to ensure the meat 
was incredibly tender. With this menu we cook off site and as a result we turned up 3 hours before our arranged serve time of 2:30pm, the meat was cooked to perfection slow, low, and marinated perfectly and we also had our amazing home made coleslaw, crispy potato wedges and our increasingly popular green leaf salad made using only the freshest ingredients bought that very day.
As the house was unusually shaped with very slim doorways we took our spitting pig hog roast machine through the neighbours garden and through the fence which proved a lot less tricky than first thought. Once in the garden we set up immediately and the results were stunning. Under our smart pop up gazebo we erected tables and set out our serving and preparation areas In a corner of the patio area so that everyone could see how tasty their food looked before the party had even began.
As soon as the guests arrived the party began with people laughing and children playing in the sun. We commenced the final prep of everything and began pulling the tender meat apart, the compliments once again came flooding in with guests intrigued by the various smells that were drifting across the garden. The serve of 80 people was surprisingly quick as the guests were all hungry and very happy with what they had previously seen. The guests come as quickly as they could to ensure they all got a taste of the succulent juicy meats along with the freshly prepared salads.
