Today at spitting pig surrey we catered for a lovely wedding after party, set in lovely surroundings in the heart of Oatlands village Weybridge. Alan and Gina had opted for our menu 4 with succulent and juicy hogroast pork. The sun was shinning high in the sky as We set off at 10am for a 1pm serve. Alan had left open the side gate for us so that we could get straight in and set up. Once we had set up our serving tables and laid out our bits and pieces we got quickly changed into our chefs whites and started preparing the 3 salads on the menu which were our fresh coleslaw, tomato basil and mozzeralla and crispy thai. Just as we started preparing the salads Alan, Gina and many more guests started to arrive. The Oatlands hog roast was on show and everyone popped over the lawn to have a look at what we were upto. To accompany the hogroast pork and freshly made salads we served a selection of white, wholemeal and seeded rolls, one of our delicious homemade quiches and a variety of sauces and dips not forgetting of course the wonderful sage and onion stuffing. The food looked and smelt amazing and at 12:30pm we started to pull the succulent hogroast. Everyone watched in awe as we pulled the pork ready to be served and many couldn’t wait to get stuck in. We served at 1pm promptly and everyone came rushing up to get some of the hogroast. The comments on how great the food looked and tasted were fantastic and everyone really enjoyed our service.
