25th April 2015 and Spitting Pig Surrey are hard at work catering for a surprise 50th birthday providing a hog roast in Guildford at a stunning family home. Rachel had opted for our menu 3 of hogroast pork, slowly roasted for 12 hours to ensure a mouthwatering texture. Served alongside the succulent hogroast were homemade coleslaw, fresh green leaf and tomato, basil and mozzarella salads as well as roasted baby new potatoes cooked with fresh garlic and rosemary, sage and onion stuffing made using the hogroast stock and a selection of fresh bakers rolls. Not forgetting the vegetarians of course we served roasted vegetable and haloumi skewers which were popular with all the guests. Our homemade apple sauce was served with a small selection of different sauces and dips. The food looked stunning and as the guests started to arrive they couldn’t wait to get stuck in. Rachels brother was the star of the party and couldn’t believe it when he came into the house. The drinks were flowing and conversation alike as people enjoyed the evening. We Served at 8:30pm and many guests came back for more of the delicious Guildford hog roast. Compliments from all the guests regarding the food and service were outstanding and everyone was extremely friendly. A great evening and a great hogroast menu 3 in Guildford.
