Hog Roast Kingston upon Thames were delighted to be invited to cater at the wedding of Mr and Mrs Fudge for 100 guests at Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club in Bushy Park. Weddings are a speciality of ours alongside corporate and private events but we know that they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and ultimately, every wedding is different but very special and we always ensure that we add an extra buzz to this special day for the bride and groom and all the guests.
Hog Roast Kingston upon Thames has a wide range of menus available for wedding events ranging from an entry level option through to more formal options with evening buffet options too and we know that the choice of menu for this type of event is crucial to its success. For this occasion, the client wanted Canapés and Drinks Reception with a Hog Roast Buffet and Dessert where we meet and greet the guests whilst the special couple and families relax and have their photos taken. This option also includes Chefs, Catering Assistants, Front of House Person & Waitresses. As an extra option, the wedding party also requested that we serve chicken as another meat option and that service was delivered using wooden crockery and cutlery – we understand that there are many good caterers out there but we like to think that what makes us stand out from the rest and be considered as a great caterer is our flexible yet approachable and professional service alongside the very wide range and highest quality food and with options to suit everyone.
Here at Hog Roast Kingston upon Thames, we know that preparation is key and we arrived well before the event was due to start and liaised with the organisers to discuss set-up and serving times; we always ensure flexibility as for many events, serving times need to be slightly altered – especially at a wedding as there is so much happening! Once we got the nod, we got the hog roast started so that everyone could smell the mouth-watering aromas to get the stomach juices flowing and this created immediate interest with many guests telling us that they have eaten our food before and couldn’t wait to get started.
