Pancakes Galore! – Hog Roast Bisley

To celebrate pancake day, a local business decided to book Hog Roast Bisley to cook and serve some hot and delicious pancakes topped with a range of treats!

Hog Roast BisleyPancakes are best served for either breakfast or for dessert (well and for lunch if you fancy a savoury one such as ham and cheese – yum!) therefore, Hog Roast Bisley served over two days. On the first day, the pancakes were served from 6am to 10am for breakfast, whereas on the second day the pancakes were served from 4pm to 7pm. Each batch was cooked fresh on the BBQ and served from recyclable wooden takeaway boxes.

For the breakfast pancakes, Hog Roast Bisley supplied the following toppings:

  1. Crispy bacon and maple syrup
  2. Nutella and banana
  3. Greek yogurt and berries

All three toppings were thoroughly enjoyed, especially the crispy bacon and maple syrup option. Hog Roast Bisley had their mouths watering as soon as they walked through the door with the smell of fresh pancakes and bacon drifting their way!

For the dinner pancakes Hog Roast Bisley supplied a further three toppings:

  1. Cookies and cream – crushed Oreos with squirts of light cream.
  2. Traditional lemon juice and sugar
  3. Dark chocolate sauce and chocolate drops

Considering that the lemon juice and sugar is a traditional option, not many people fancied it! Most opted for the indulgent cookies and cream topping, something Hog Roast Bisley catering manager certainly would have chosen himself!

The scrumptious pancakes were hoovered up by the staff members, all giving their thanks and compliments to the team.

Hog Roast Bisley ensured that all the covid-safety precautions were carried out. Each team member wore a mask and gloves, hand sanitiser and a washing basin allowed them to clean their hands on regular intervals and they provided an extra table, 2-metres away to pop the pancakes down on so that to come into close contact with any staff. The manager and owner was pleased that these safety measures were already in place by the time he came out to introduce himself.
