Hog Roast Weybridge Makes Christmas Magical For Dermalogica!

Hog Roast Weybridge When Dermalogica got in touch with us about catering their Christmas party, we won’t pretend we didn’t pause for a second. Because yes… that Dermalogica. The world-leading skincare brand. The one everyone seems to have heard of. So when the Weybridge branch asked if Hog Roast Weybridge was free to step in last month, it’s fair to say we were a little starstruck.

They were planning a Christmas do for around 40 guests and wanted the food to feel like a proper treat. Nothing stiff or overdone – just something generous, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. With a bit of back and forth and some friendly guidance from our catering manager, Shaun the menu came together very nicely.

Everything kicked off right at midday on the 18th of December with antipasti platters brought out to each table. And these weren’t the dainty blink-and-you’ll-miss-them kind either – no, no! We’re talking proper bamboo grazing boards packed with Italian meats, cheeses, breadsticks, pieces of artisanal bread, and small bowls of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for indulgent dipping. The sort of food that gets people chatting straight away.

And while guests tucked into the nibbles, Shaun and the team were busy putting the finishing touches on the main event. The hog roast was carved, the crackling carefully separated, and the pork pulled and ready to serve. It was set out with soft wholemeal and gluten-free rolls, making it easy for guests to build their own delicious sandwiches.

From there, it was all about the sides. You might not know this about us, but Hog Roast Weybridge excels in this department. We had applesauce, homemade sage and onion stuffing, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, fresh seasonal leaves, gourmet coleslaw, and roasted new potatoes all laid out buffet-style, giving everyone plenty of options to mix and match.

And, of course, we know pork isn’t for everyone – so there were alternatives to that too. The juicy marinated chicken thighs proved popular and the grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers – served withHog Roast Weybridge tzatziki, flatbreads, and a sweet chilli sauce – went down just as well with the veggie and vegan attendees.

Dessert rounded things off – as it should at Christmas! Guests chose between homemade profiteroles smothered in chocolate sauce or individual chocolate tortes, both served with fresh cream on bamboo crockery.

The verdict? Empty plates, happy guests and endless compliments. That’s Hog Roast Weybridge code for a Christmas party done right!
