Today at Spitting Pig we catered for a great little hog roast party in Banstead. The weather was perfect and the pork too! Locally sourcing our Sussex bred free range pigs and slowly roasting them really gives the best possible flavour.
We arrived on site with the pig already cooked as we had cooked it for 12 hours previously, and were met by a very friendly woman who had booked us through our website at Spitting Pig Surrey to do a hog roast menu 1 for her. In this case we served the hog roast with a lovely range of bread rolls as well as our very own homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing made using the juices that are produced from our slow roasted pig. We turned up 2 and a half hours before the serve time to ensure we could set up all our tables and gazebo with plenty of time to spare and make sure everything looked stunning before carving our melt in the mouth hog roast pork.
At Spitting Pig Surrey we aim and deliver the highest standards when preparing and serving whichever hog roast meat you have chosen. As soon as we had started carving the hog roast lots of the guests started watching in anticipation as to what the end result was going to be, a few even got to try a little of the crackling before we served which they were very pleased with. The smell of the hog roast was wafting around the garden and everyone was just waiting for the serve time of 7pm so that they could get stuck in and enjoy the mouth watering pork. Everything went just as planned, as soon as 7pm arrived the hog roast was served by our very own Spitting Pig chef, plates were full and everyone at the party said the pork was the best they had ever eaten. Plates were collected at the end and our chef quietly packed down and left the site knowing that everyone had eaten and everything was cleaned away properly leaving no fuss for the party. Another great hog roast in Banstead successfully completed by Spitting Pig Surrey.
