Every year, the Wildflower Community Centre host a summer festival filled with sports events, crafts, games, great food, and live music. It is an event that all of the family can enjoy and is one that local residents look forward to throughout the year. This year, the food stalls included sweets, pancakes, and Hog Roast Addlestone catering! We were asked to prepare our slow-roasted pig menu for over 250 guests since it is simplistic to prepare and is always a firm favourite.
To prepare for the event, we began by slow-roasting our hogs to perfection, locking in the natural juices and flavours. Alongside the meat, we also prepared sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and fresh bread rolls and wraps (with gluten-free options also available). For vegetarian guests, we prepared BBQ pulled jackfruit.
This is an ideal festival menu since it looks and smells delicious while it cooks, which is a great way to entice many hungry customers. It is also suitable for guests of all ages and can be enjoyed by all.
Our stall fit in perfectly with the festival atmosphere and was a hit among the guests. The bread rolls were perfect for enjoying on-the-go while browsing what else was on offer. Overall the event was a huge success and was lots of fun for all!
