It’s been a topsy-turvy sort of year, where schedules and work places have been turned upside down by restrictions and new rules. Hog Roast Alford’s latest clients wanted to do something a little bit special for their workforce. The clients decided to throw a Halloween staff party and had the Hog Roast Alford team produce a tasty buffet for the small party.
The team of 10 workers from the office were treated to a simple, but utterly delicious buffet. The clients worked with the Hog Roast Alford team to concoct a catering package to suit their needs and their budget.
As part of this catering package Chef Shaun from the team would make all the dishes for the buffet from scratch at the office venue on the day of the celebration. The team would also supply disposable napkin, crockery and cutlery for the guests to use.
Catering Manager Shaun arrived at the office several hours before the 5:30pm serving time. He was given a private room to set up his catering equipment and he got straight to work producing the delicious buffet. Under his expert hands the meat was scored and sizzled and all the foods came together to form a tasty buffet.
The main attraction at the buffet was the Classic Hog Roast. This was a slow spit roasted pig that was served complete with crispy crackling, apple sauce and homemade stuffing. There was also tasty vegan and vegetarian alternatives available including BBQ pulled jackfruit, vegetable and halloumi skewers and plain grilled vegetable skewers. Finishing off the buffet was a big mountain of skin on potato wedges, as well as a basket of soft gluten free rolls and an assortment of dips and sauces for the guests to tuck into.
When 5:30pm arrived the hungry workers could tuck straight into the tasty treats that their boss had organised for them. Chef Shaun was happy to assist the staff in serving themselves the buffet.
After the food had been thoroughly enjoyed by the lucky staff members Shaun from the team quietly tidied away.
The event was a great success. It allowed the staff to let their hair down and have some fun in a safe and warm environment.
