As your local, trusted event catering specialist it’s easy to see why we are the most chosen catering provider in the area. After all who doesn’t love a juicy, succulent hog roast? When Mary was planning her 70th party she knew a delicious hog roast would go down a treat with all of her guests.
The traditional slow roasting method has been developed over years and she knew straight away that it would be her only choice to impress all of her guests with.
As the day of the party was upon us, Hog Roast Tongham loaded the van nice and early and set off to Mary’s house as she was hosting her party in her garden with her close friends, family and also neighbours. In total 40 guests were expected to be at the party, Mary understandably didn’t want to be left with the task of catering for 40 guests on the day of her birthday. Ahead of the day the weather wasn’t looking too promising but Mary did have a back-up plan to host the party from her conservatory instead. We would still cook outdoors but then opt to serve indoors so the guests didn’t have to come out in the rain.
Luckily on the day the weather remained dry, but quite breezy. To keep the guests in good spirits and nice and warm Mary still went ahead with the second plan to host from the conservatory. As the weather was dry Hog Roast Tongham served from our gazebo outdoors, then at least the guests were still able to come out and see our main spectacle – the cooked hog! Slowly but surely guests were popping out to collect their puled pork roll, many stopped for a quick chat too, a few pictures of the hog and back inside to keep warm and enjoy their lunch!
Mary had a lovely group of guests who were all very complimentary of the food and extremely grateful to Mary for providing such a delicious spread for them all. With Mary still mingling amongst the guests and enjoying the celebrations, Hog Roast Tongham started discreetly packing away and heading back to the van to leave everyone to enjoy themselves!
