Recently, the Hog Roast Crawley team were hired by a local family to help them celebrate their son, Ryan, passing his driving test first time. His parents invited all of his family round for the celebrations as they were delighted he had managed to pass in only a few months. Ryan’s parents chose the Hog Roast Crawley team as they heard some fantastic reviews from their friends about the quality of the service. After looking through the selection of menus offered by the team, Ryan’s parents decided that the Hog Roast team’s flexibility was perfect for their event.
Ryan’s parents chose the Hog Roast Crawley team’s Southern Slow Roast Menu which offered a great variety of different foods to suit the many guests. The food was to be served as a buffet with disposable crockery and cutlery for the casual atmosphere of the party. The main meats included BBQ pork butt, fall off the home Louisiana sticky pork ribs and Cajun spiced whole roast locally sourced chickens. In addition, the team’s classic homemade vegetarian option was served on the buffet which consisted of grilled vegetable and halloumi wraps with tzatziki sauce. A special variety of sauces including the Jack Daniels Smokey sweet BBQ glaze was served on the buffet to spice up the flavourful meats. Alongside the main dishes, the team served up corn cobbettes, macaroni and cheese, skin-on southern style whole baked potatoes and Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges. The meats were also served with soft fresh bread rolls and wraps to compliment the classic atmosphere.
Ryan and his family were really pleased with the food and really enjoyed the buffet. The team delivered a fantastic service with a great friendly atmosphere. The Hog Roast Crawley team’s Head Chef worked really hard to ensure that all of the food was delivered to the buffet table at the same time and that all the food remained warm throughout the service. In addition, they ensured that all of the food was great quality and all of the ingredients were locally sourced. The party was a great way to celebrate Ryan’s achievement and he could not wait to get his first car.
