Our Hog Roast Walton-On-Thames catering manager Shaun was contacted by Joseph, to enquire about birthday catering for his son’s 6th birthday party. The party took place earlier in October, with 40 guests in need of catering. We were asked to provide a delicious menu with a variety of dishes, including something for meat-free and gluten-free guests. After a discussion, we decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu would be a great choice!
On the day of the event, Hog Roast Walton-On-Thames arrived in advance of the 17:30 mealtime. We began by preparing the main dishes, including salmon, succulent sausages, spit-roasted lamb, and BBQ pulled jackfruit. This was a great variety of dishes, with something for every guest to enjoy. we served the mains with fresh bread rolls, including a gluten-free alternative. For the side dishes, we served crunchy coleslaw, pasta salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, roasted baby new potatoes, and a selection of fries. This created a versatile and tasty menu, with a dish for every guest to enjoy.
We served our catering buffet-style on china crockery and cutlery, which was the ideal level of formality for the birthday party. Our catering was the perfect addition to the party and was perfect alongside the entertainment. We had lots of fun providing catering and it was great to be a part of such a special event!
