It’s been Christmas parties galore here at Hog Roast Wembley recently, and if you know anything about us, then you’ll know that we’ve been loving every minute of it! For our team, there are few things more satisfying at this side of the year than making sure others get the most out of the festive season with one of our mouth-watering hog roast banquets; and earlier in the month, we found ourselves in Middlesex, where we had been hired to serve a marvellous feast for Rackspace Technology’s annual office shindig.
With a large customer base spanning across 120 countries and more than 6,800 employees dotted across the globe, Rackspace Technology has become a leader in the field of multicloud solutions since launching in 1998. Their clients include government bodies, healthcare providers, non-profit organisations and well-known corporations, which means they are always extremely busy working to stay on top of demand.
The office Christmas party is one of the rare occasions where the entire Rackspace team can leave the stresses of work at their desks to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate their successes of the past year. And for Hog Roast Wembley, it was a great privilege and an honour to be trusted with their festive party this year.
Louise, who had reached out to us on behalf of the company, had requested our Festive Menu and asked that it include enough grub for all 50 people. Right away, our catering manager, Shaun, had assured her that this would be no trouble at all and promised that the Rackspace Technology team would be over the moon with the results!
When the day of the Christmas party arrived, Hog Roast Wembley travelled to the Rackspace Ltd building, where they promptly put together an irresistible buffet that comprised of a slow-roasted hog with all the traditional extras, homemade cauliflower cheese, glazed vegetables, gravy; and for the veggies/vegans, a meat-free option of grilled veggie skewers. Everything was served on our eco-friendly wooden plates with matching cutlery, and the team made enough non-alcoholic mulled wine for the guests to have two cups each.
Just as Shaun had promised, the Rackspace staff were blown away by the feast, and they spent the afternoon happily indulging in the delicious food and sipping mulled wine.
