As it has to all of us, the pandemic has hugely impacted our lives here at Hog Roast Knaphill, with the last 2 years being a hodgepodge of uncertainties, various restrictions, changing guidance and difficulty. The last few months thankfully looked to be the end of that as we managed to get somewhat back to the normal run of our regular event catering services. And it was a delight to welcome you all back in that time. As customers you helped to see us through the pandemic when other business faced uncertainty and closure. You continued to support us by ordering our delivered services and getting us in for catering in the capacities that we could, and we will never stop being thankful for it.
With the uptick in COVID cases in the UK again and the uncertainty of the Omicron variant we unfortunately once again have to consider our immediate future and how Hog Roast Knaphill can best operate. We do not want to go back to the way things were, if we can help it, and hope that with vaccinations at a high in the country and a better understanding of the virus that it won’t have to. We understand the need for safety and caution, and we ourselves are doing all we can to contribute on that front at your events in the meantime, but we want more than anything for 2022 to be an uninterrupted period for events. No one wants to go through cancellations and postponements again. We’ll keep doing our best to ensure that does not have to happen, but we of course understand if you yourself are hesitant about any upcoming events you may have. We can only offer our assurances that Hog Roast Knaphill has your safety at heart at your event, and will work with you to ensure so.
The coming weeks may see some changes to restrictions that may affect us, however the current dithering and uncertainty on what the future will look like is currently unhelpful and only pushes more anxiety for us all. Hog Roast Knaphill strongly urges clarity so that we and other businesses can put to action plans to help sustain ourselves before it is too late.
