Pamela’s story is a testament to the compassionate service Hog Roast Frimley provides. Seeking a caterer for her husband Marty’s funeral, Pamela reached out to us and shared her vision for the day. Describing Marty as a larger-than-life character who always brought joy to those around him, Pamela wanted the wake to celebrate his life in a meaningful way.
Knowing that Marty was a huge fan of hog roasts and even enjoyed spit-roasting hogs himself on occasion, Pamela was keen to have us serve a hog roast at the wake. It was a touching tribute to Marty’s love for good food and gathering with loved ones.
On the day of Marty’s funeral, our team at Hog Roast Frimley worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. As guests arrived for the wake, they were greeted warmly and offered our signature hog roast rolls – gluten-free and wholemeal rolls filled with succulent pulled pork, crackling, stuffing, and applesauce.
The turnout for Marty’s funeral was large, with 170 people coming to pay their respects. As they enjoyed their food and shared fond memories of Marty’s own spit roasts, there was a palpable sense of warmth and camaraderie in the air.
For Pamela, the day was everything she had hoped for – a true celebration of Marty’s life. She expressed her gratitude to our catering manager, Shaun, and the team for their compassion and dedication throughout, which made the day far less stressful for her.
