Hog Roast Woking caters for Woking RFC!

When it comes to local caterers, Hog Roast Woking is an excellent choice and one that you will be glad you made. Whether you have invited a handful of guests or hundreds, regardless of whether you’re having an informal or formal party, and no matter what the special occasion is, our professional, friendly staff will provide delicious, homemade food at an affordable price. We can cater all kinds of parties and events and we can actually make so much more than a hog roast – although that is our tasty speciality, of course! We have many menus to choose from and you can even design your own, and with lovely options including hog and spit roasts, barbecued food, canapés, starters, desserts and ideas for multiple courses, you’ll truly be spoilt for choice. And if any of your guests have dietary requirements, we will ensure that they enjoy our food as much as everyone else.

When Richard, Woking Rugby Football Club’s Honorary Treasurer, recently asked Hog Roast Woking to cater an event at the social club, it meant that we would actually be providing two meals that day. First of all, for a sit-down meal for 40 guests at lunchtime, and then in the evening, between 5pm and 8pm, we would also be serving a hog roast buffet.

Woking RFC is based at the Camphill Social Club in West Byfleet, about a mile from the playing grounds. The purpose-built club for use by the local community has two bars, a snooker room and a garden and BBQ area. On this particular day, our team at Hog Roast Woking arrived bright and early in the morning, to set up our gazebo and serving tables and to prepare the meat. The lunch meal would be our Southern Slow Roast menu, where we cook a trio of marinated meats low and slow for a few hours before service. In addition, we would be cooking potatoes and veggie skewers, freshly preparing salads and bringing out the floury bread rolls and wraps.
