Laurel is turning 70 this March and her daughter Stacey is in the process of organising a birthday party for her. The party would be a great way for all of Laurel’s friends and family to gather together and celebrate the milestone birthday while enjoying some great entertainment and catering. Stacey organised a band for the entertainment and contacted Hog Roast Givons Grove to arrange catering for the event. Our manager Shaun discussed some menu options that would be ideal for this occasion, including a variety of formalities. Stacey wanted a casual buffet menu with something for guests of all ages to enjoy, as well as a meat-free dish. It was decided that our classic hog roast would be ideal when served with a few additional dishes.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Givons Grove team is planning on preparing a slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on the day of the event and served in fresh bread rolls. We will also be serving succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages in hot dog rolls to offer some variety. Alongside the main dishes, the guests will be able to enjoy a selection of seasonal salad options, homemade chips, and crunchy coleslaw. Overall, this will create a varied and delicious evening buffet with something for every guest to enjoy.
