Distance is never a problem with us here at the Hog Roast Felcourt we travel far and wide and have travelled miles for customers. However at the weekend we didn’t have to travel far at all we travelled for just ten minutes and could have literally walked the distance!
Catering for an engagement party for a lovely couple at a local club. When we arrived we were met by the couple and they showed us into the room to cater from, we chatted and found out that they had been together for 8 years since they were both at school. They left to enjoy drinks with friends and family as we began to cook the Hog Roast Felcourt. The tables were all set out and we began by filling the machine with food we placed beef and pork sausages on the machines with some jacket potatoes we then made a curry filling for the potatoes along with a cheese and tuna filling. We placed baskets of finger sausage buns out and made a lovely red onion salad and a cheese salad too. We made some dips using garlic and ginger and mustard and honey which go lovely with the sausages. A huge poached salmon was placed on the table dressed in cucumber and lemon and looked a picture! We have such attention to detail in all we do- even our salads are a work of art. Before we knew it, it was time to serve.
The sausages were plump and full of goodness all our sausages come from our local butcher he makes the best sausages in the land! The potatoes were fluffy and filled with the mouth-watering fillings and everyone was digging in helping themselves and we were getting compliments left right and centre. Some of the guests were coming over and saying that they had never been to a party before where the food had been as good and we were so happy to hear that. We stayed and watched the happy couple cut the cake and joined them in a glass of bubbly to congratulate them both we love our jobs here at Hog Roast Felcourt we really do.
