Hog Roast Ottershaw has catered for many private parties around the area and with the World Cup, we were delighted to be invited to cater at a party to celebrate England’s success so far.
This event was relatively small; we were asked to cater for 30 people, but we always make sure that every event, no matter how big or small, is special and delivered with the utmost care. Hog Roast Ottershaw not only caters for private events but also caters for many other types of client including birthdays, corporate parties, weddings and charity events all with a tailored menu that we discuss with each client to ensure that the most suitable choice is made. Hog Roast Ottershaw has six standard menus to choose from ranging from a “hog in a roll” option for informal events, through to fully catered and waited on events with proper china, canapes and desserts for more formal, sit down, celebrations.
In this case, the client was intending to go to the pub to watch the England game with his mates but decided to book a hog roast two days before the match to have at home instead. We know that there are many good caterers out there but what makes Hog Roast Ottershaw stand out from the rest is not only our fabulously tasty food and high-class service, but also our flexibility and adaptability to cater for all of our clients’ needs even at very short notice. After discussing the menu requirements with the client, he decided that the best option was for the hog roast with salads but also with a fish option for the pescatarians that would be present.
With a serving time of between 6 and 6.30pm, we arrived in plenty of time to set up and once the guests started arriving we got the hog roast started so that everyone could smell the mouth-watering aromas to get the stomach juices flowing and this created immediate interest with many guests chomping at the bit to eat some of the delicious hog and, once we started serving, we had so many compliments about how flavoursome and delicious all of the food tasted with the client looking at booking another for the next England game!
