Hannah contacted Hog Roast Cranleigh earlier this year to enquire about our wedding catering menus. For her reception, she required a menu that included two meals, with a formal lunch followed by an evening buffet. After discussing our menu options with our catering manager Shaun, we decided that our formal wedding catering menu with an evening buffet would be a great choice for the occasion. This menu includes a variety of dishes to choose from and is ideal for events of any size, including for Hannah’s 120 guests.
On the day of the event, we began by preparing the lunch and serving the canapés as the guests arrived. The canapés included mini fish and chips, mini pizzas, and an Indian selection. Once the guests were seated we served a classic Hog Roast Cranleigh starter, consisting of soup of the day and crusty bread rolls. For the main course, guests chose between slow-roasted pork or spit-roasted lamb. This was accompanied by a selection of sides and trimmings, creating a delicious lunch for the guests to enjoy. To finish the lunch, we served cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, presented elegantly with fresh cream and berries.
Once the guests had enjoyed a day full of entertainment, it was time for Hog Roast Cranleigh to serve the evening buffet. This was a great contrast to the lunch, simply consisting of bacon and sausage rolls for the guests to enjoy.
