Hog Roast Friday Street – High School Leavers Prom Night Preparations!

hog roast Friday StreetIt’s almost that time of year again – the end of the school year, and that means the end of an era for high school leavers. But before stepping into the world as adults for the first time and leaving adolescence behind them, there’s one more rite of passage for students to go through. Yes, we are, of course, talking about prom!

Not only is prom a great way to blow off steam after gruelling exams, but it’s also the last opportunity for students to get together as a class, have fun and celebrate how far they’ve come before parting ways. It’s an exhilarating and emotional occasion all rolled into one, the memories of which will stay with attendees forever. So, it’s important that it goes off without a hitch.

With that in mind, PTA representative, Delilah, has recently been in touch to hire Hog Roast Friday Street for a high school leaver’s prom she’s helping to plan for one of the local schools. The prom night event will go ahead next month, and determined to make sure that this special and momentous occasion is celebrated in style, the client has asked us to serve our crowd-pleasing Alfresco Menu.

Hog Roast Friday StreetPleasantly surprised by the affordability of this tantalising spread, Delilah has also decided to customise the meal by incorporating some extras, including sweet and savoury grazing tables and canapé options. This will provide lots more variety to the feast and will undoubtedly add to the luxurious vibe that the event planning team is eager to create.

As you can imagine, Hog Roast Friday Street is really excited for this celebration to go ahead, and we can’t wait to impress the school leavers with our show-stopping hog roast, plant-based burgers and veggie skewers, bold salad dishes, mixed fries and indulgent puds. We’re also confident they’ll love the aperitif options that Delilah and our catering manager, Shaun, have agreed on, which include beer-battered mini fish and chips, an Indian selection, chicken satay skewers and vegetarian mini pizza and quiche.
