From starting the month and season with a sudden heatwave, through Rugby World Cup action, to many corporate events returning from the summer season to a storm coming in right at the end of the month. September has been yet another mammoth month for events at Hog Roast Dorking, and we have enjoyed each occasion immensely as we’ve brought the best of our autumn dining to your events here at home. With plenty more of the autumn season still to come and plenty more events to follow, we thought we might just take a quick moment to share some of our event highlights that brought us through September:
Just when we thought summer was over September surprised us all with one more intensive heatwave. Hog Roast Dorking teams were just about ready to pack up our barbecuing equipment when suddenly we had cause to get them all back out again to a myriad of events held out in the sunshine. The heatwave allowed us to cater a last batch of outdoor events for the weather began to draw in again, and we had a great time doing it. Of course with any extreme weather our Hog Roast Dorking teams were always careful to ensure that customer safety was looked after, as well as our own teams too who had to work long hours in the heat.
The Rugby World Cup kicked off in September too, meaning our Hog Roast Dorking teams were out at watch events delivering enough food to feed the entire English rugby team. Guests were able to enjoy every second of the action in September with the aid of our serving teams bringing them plate after plate of excellent British roasts!
And of course with summer over it was back to work for many but that didn’t have to be a bad thing with Hog Roast Dorking’s in-office catering. We were out at hundreds of offices throughout the month delivering exemplary business lunch services, helping employees all ease back from those summer blues and back to the regular working schedule.
